The Setting Of The Next 'Assassin's Creed' Game Has Fans Divided

Calling all Assassin’s Creed fans, if you’re excited about updates on Valhalla, we need your attention ASAP. Ubisoft and BossLogic have just revealed some core elements of the next Assassin’s Creed game in a super interesting live-stream.

In the video, an artwork is drawn over several hours in Adobe photoshop then sped up, promoting the next Assassin’s Creed game. As the video goes along, elements of the setting pop up revealing the nature of the next instalment. The game donned Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, we can assume, will be Viking-themed. There will actually be a proper Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla trailer that drops tomorrow at 1 am AEST. So, if you feel like staying up, you have that to look forward to. You can wait to watch that video below:

As the name of the game suggests, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will feature Vikings and potentially the Norse, depending on how much pirating is in the game. The full reveal (happening tomorrow) should give us a better indication of the nature of the game to come. 

Fans of Assassin’s Creed are pretty divided over the latest Valhalla video. There were some that were over-the-moon about the trailer.

That's just me but I wish Assassin's Creed would look more towards Hitman for a direction. I want a 15 hour stealth game in one city. Not really looking for an 100 hour open world RPG with grinding.

The first Assassin’s Creed debuted over a decade ago in 2007. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will be the 12th instalment of the series, which has become one of Ubisoft’s most successful titles.
