While we’re all hunkering down in isolation, waiting for the eye of the pandemic storm to pass, Lindsay Lohan is out here announcing her comeback to music.

This week, Lohan shared a cryptic video on YouTube titled, ‘I’m back!’ with a pair of suspicious emoji eyes. The 30-second video features a bunch of old TVs playing footage of LiLo in the news which slowly builds to the screen exploding and, Lohan saying “I’m back.”
It’s not the first time LiLo has teased a musical comeback. Last June, the actress, singer and reality TV star posted a series of since-deleted photos of herself inside a recording studio to Instagram, with the caption, “hard at work.”
Page Six reported that the actress and singer had re-signed with Casablanca Records to release a third studio album. In August 2019, we heard Lohan’s upcoming single ‘Xanax’ – but then we heard nothing else.
If Lohan is intending to make her return to the charts with a fully-fledged album, it would be the first since her second studio album A Little More Personal (Raw) which came out in 2005 with tracks like ‘Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)’.
To be fair, LiLo has had a few other projects on her plate as of late. She’s appeared on a string of reality TV shows including Australia’s edition of The Masked Singer and of course, her own MTV reality show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, which was unfortunately cancelled after one season.
It sounds like Lindsay Lohan’s fans aren’t convinced a global pandemic is the right time to announce your comeback to the music industry – I mean, surely she understands that the whole world has bigger fish to fry right now? But you’ve got to give it to Lohan – she is always hustling, even in COVID-19 isolation.
