Greedy Frank Ocean Fans Get Schooled Following Tragic Death Of His Brother

“Let the man take his time and mourn."

When a celebrity experiences major loss, there is usually a beautiful outpouring of support from their loyal fans. However, there are always a few who manage to turn tragedy into an opportunity to troll. Case in point: the tragic death of Frank Ocean’s brother, Ryan Breaux.

According to multiple reports, Ocean’s 18-year-old brother has sadly died following a car crash over the weekend. The single-vehicle crash – which took place on Westlake Boulevard in Thousand Oaks, California – reportedly killed Breaux and the other individual in the car.

A friend of Breaux’s shared an emotional tribute via Instagram, which read, “I don’t even know what to say. Ryan you were one of the most incredible people I have ever known, you gave me everything I could’ve ever wanted and I’m so grateful for all the memories we shared. I will love you always and forever.”

Many of Frank Ocean’s fans also shared their condolences via social media, and urged others to keep his family in their thoughts and prayers.

However, Ocean’s followers were also seemingly forced to clap back at social media users who saw the death of Breaux as a “delay” to new music from the Grammy award-winning artist.

“If any of you still hounding Frank Ocean for the album after this, you’re garbage,” one user wrote, while another added, “You scumbags need to reevaluate your whole life if you’re complaining that Frank Ocean losing his brother will delay a f*cking album.”

“Let the man take his time and mourn his brother for the time that he needs to,” they posted.

One fan simply tweeted, “I really hope that every Frank Ocean fan is sending him tons of love instead of asking him for new music.”

It’s so distressing to see that people are worried about Frank Ocean’s album after such a traumatic and life-changing loss. It should just be another reminder that celebrities and artists are not public property, and they don’t ‘owe’ you anything.

Our love and support goes out to Frank Ocean, his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
