'Glee' Cast Members Are Lining Up To Lay Into Lea Michele's Behaviour

“Remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!"

Lea Michele might’ve played a goody two-shoes songbird on the hit TV show Glee, but behind-the-scenes it was a different story according to her co-stars.

Last weekend, Michele shared her support for Black Lives Matter, tweeting, “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter.”

Just two days later, Samantha Ware – who played Jane Hayward in the sixth season of Glee – responded to Michele’s tweet with some pretty intense accusations.

“Remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?!?” she tweeted. “Cause I’ll never forget. I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would ‘s– in my wig!’ amongst other traumatic microaggressions that made me question a career in Hollywood.”

It’s a big yikes, but it didn’t end there.

Speaking of on-set drama, hear about the uncomfortable working arrangements for cast members of The Kissing Booth 2 below:

Alex Newell, who played Unique Adams on the show, tweeted her support for Samantha Ware’s accusations. The same goes for other co-stars including Amber Riley and Dabier Snell, who tweeted, “Girl you wouldn’t let me sit at the table with the other cast members cause ‘I didn’t belong there.’ F*ck you Lea.”

To make matters worse, fans have weighed in on the Glee feud, stating that Michele’s co-star Naya Rivera had attempted to call her questionable behaviour out in the past.

In her 2016 memoir Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes and Growing Up, Rivera admitted she had a difficult working relationship with Michele.

“We are both strong willed and competitive – not just with each other but with everyone – and that’s not a good mixture,” she wrote. “As Santana [Rivera’s character in Glee] moved from a background character to one with bigger plot lines and more screen time. I think Rachel – erm, I mean Lea – didn’t like sharing the spotlight.”

“If I’d complained about anyone or anything, she’d assumed I was bitching about her. Soon, she started to ignore me, and eventually it got to the point where she didn’t say a word to me for all of season 6,” Rivera added.

No word from Lea Michele on this absolutely piping hot tea, but I’m guessing there are a few calls being made right now.
