Everything You Need To Know About The New Netflix Series 'Too Hot To Handle'

It's the show that has everyone talking.

If you’ve bingewatched Tiger King and everything else your streaming platforms have to offer, you need to give the new Netflix reality series Too Hot To Handle a go. It’s an absolutely wild rollercoaster of emotions, and quite frankly, it’s not for the fainthearted.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new Netflix series Too Hot To Handle:

It’s All About Sex…Or Lack Thereof

On first appearances, Too Hot To Handle is your classic reality TV show formula: a bunch of hot guys and a bunch of hot girls live in a house together and drama ensues. But here’s the catch: Too Hot To Handle challenges all genetically-blessed, single contestants to go the entire length of their stay without boning each other. That means no sex, no kissing, no self-pleasure…the rules go on. It seems simple, but these are the most horned-up humans I’ve ever witnessed on television. Add in booze, bikinis and ‘bonding challenges’ and you can imagine how difficult this becomes for some of the contestants.

Speaking of nuts Netflix shows, listen to a deep dive into Tiger King below:

It’s All Your Fave Reality Shows Combined

Imagine if Jersey Shore, Geordie Shore, Big Brother, Love Island and Are You The One? had a baby. The result would most definitely be Too Hot To Handle. Like Love Island, it’s set in a picturesque luxury villa and like Are You The One? it’s all about finding your ‘match’ in an effort to win the most prize money. Too Hot To Handle also features an international cast of contestants all the way from the UK, the US and even sunny Queensland – it’s like the casts of Jersey Shore, Geordie Shore and Big Brother Australia collaborated on some strange science experiment for Netflix.

You Either Do Or DGAF About The Prize Money

Speaking of prize money, it becomes quite a point of contention in Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle. If contestants break the rules by kissing, sexing or fondling one another, the overall prize money decreases. The horny hopefuls are unaware of how much each act of rule breaking will ‘cost’ them, resulting in a dramatic combo of those who insist on following the rules, and others who DGAF and purposely act out to spend big.

You’ll Either Love Or Hate The One Aussie Guy

Amongst the Brits and Americans on Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle is one true blue Aussie – 23-year-old Harry Jowsey from Queensland. Like most single boys in their early ‘20s, Harry finds the ‘no sex’ rules rather difficult, particularly after shacking up with an equally-as-attractive Instagram model. He’s cheeky and loveable, but also looks like he’d leave you on ‘read’ and loves to call women “naughty possums.” Hear that? It’s the entirety of Australia cringing at once.

Social Media Is Shook

Since Too Hot To Handle popped up on Netflix, social media fans have had a lot to say. And it’s really no surprise the show has tongues wagging – it’s a batsh*t crazy social experiment providing some pretty hilarious and bewildering results. Is it good? I don’t know. Is it bad? Probably. Will you be able to stop watching it? Absolutely not.
