Introducing: Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, a dynamic duo with over a million YouTuber subscribers. This team have been pranking celebrities for a while now, using Zoom meetings and audio from previous interviews to lock in chats with celebrities around the world.
If you’re wondering how on earth they pulled it all off, don’t worry we’re wondering the same. To put it simply, Josh and Archie pretend to be from a production company that books celebs for popular Late Show appearances. They convince the celebrity that the host is not able to be on camera, then they use audio from previous interviews as the questions being asked. Simplicity itself, really.

For Carole Baskin, this involved getting clips from an interview with Kat Dennings, the stars of the film Cats and Jimmy Fallon’s interaction with a live cat in his chat with an Irwin. Although Carole Baskin initially declined, she eventually gave the green-light for an interview as long as they didn’t speak about ‘Tiger King’.
And to their credit, the interview worked. Carole Baskin spoke about her life during the COVID-19 pandemic, what she’s doing for work and she even talked about the type of headpiece she was wearing. Not to mention, Carole finished the interview by asking viewers to support the Big Cat Public Safety Act. You can watch the full interview here:
