Britney Spears' Mum Weighs Into #FreeBritney With Some Spicy Court Documents

The plot thickens.

With the yellow-top conspiracy theory and the uncovering of a 2009 letter, there has never been more interest in the #FreeBritney movement than right now, and now Britney Spears’ mum has weighed in on the matter.

It would appear that Lynne Spears, Britney’s mum, has now filed legal documents requesting to be included in her daughter’s finances.

We spoke about Britney Spears on this episode of It’s Been A Big Day For…

According to The Blast, new court documents show that Lynne Spears has recently filed a request with the Los Angeles County Courts to be included at any “special notice” of “all matters” that have to do with Britney Spears’ trust. Ooft, here we go.

For essential context, Britney spears had previously filed an ‘SJB Revocable Trust’ with the courts in 2004, which was set up to “hold and manage her material financial assets during her lifetime, and provide distribution of those assets upon her death.”

Lynne Spears had previously taken a legal interest in Britney Spears’ conservatorship last May after the ‘Slumber Party’ singer completed treatment at a healthcare facility. She spoke in favour of the #FreeBritney movement.

At this time, Brintey’s Instagram followers had noticed that her mum had liked comments by Instagram accounts alluding to Britney being held against her will.

Sorry, what?

According to Page Six, Britney Spears’ mum commented on an Instagram post by fan account @absoluteBritneycom that said: “So Britney’s team is deleting positive comments on her Instagram post and leaving negative ones to keep up the illusion that she needs help! They were all so quick to remove all comments before but now all the sudden they are leaving all negative ones but removing positive ones! How much longer is this going to be?!? This has to be (a) human rights violation!!!! #FreeBritney #britneyspears” In reply to this, Lynne Spears said: “I know you are a true fan and love her so thank you for pointing this out because I have had others say the same.” Check out the post here:

Britney’s reps told Entertainment Tonight that the allegations were “absurd,” saying: “We unequivocally deny the absurd allegations that we have promoted negative statements or deleted positive posts from Instagram and are considering appropriate action.”

What do you think will come from Britney Spears’ mum weighing in on this?
