Billie Eilish Speaks Out Against Snapchatters Who ‘Scammed’ Her Fans

She’s out to catch you bad guys...

Billie Eilish has had enough of her copycats. Despite being in quarantine, Billie is still active as hell on social media. Recently she’s given fans a very moving performance with her brother Finneas on a LiveStream and even though she’s avoiding messages Bhad Bhabie, the 18-year-old has taken to her Instagram Stories to set the record straight about something very important.

Yesterday, the ‘bury a friend’ singer took to social media to speak out against users who are pretending to be her on Snapchat. In her message, she alludes to fans being “scammed” by people pretending to be the pop star.

Speaking of Billie Eilish, we spoke about her ‘Bond’ song on this episode of It’s Been A Big Day For…

Billie Eilish’s message, in all caps, reads: “Some people are pretending to be me on Snapchat. I do not use Snapchat to talk to anyone. If you think you are talking to me, it is not me I promise you. No matter what they say to convince you… On my entire families life, I am not talking to you through Snapchat. It is not me. I’m sorry to those who have been scammed.”

Yikes. Shockingly, this isn’t the first time people have pretended to be Billie Eilish. In January of this year, Billie Eilish took to her Instagram story to speak out against people dressing up like her to try and trick fans. She said: “please stop doing this shit it’s not safe for you and it is mean to the people who don’t know any better you make me look bad,” attaching a photo of someone dressed up in baggy clothes and green streaked hair.

Well, moral of the story, if you’re pretending to be Billie Eilish, please stop. It’s extremely unfair to the people who think they’re interacting with the real Billie. Not to mention, Billie Eilish is not afraid to call you out and don’t think she won’t. This news comes after Billie postponed her “Where Do We Go? Tour” earlier this month as a result of COVID-19 concerns.
