Emma Stone Reveals The Celeb She'd Eat In A Zombie Apocalypse And Wow

Seriously?!

Emma Stone is finally reprising her role as Wichita in the Zombieland sequel Zombieland: Double Tap and she revealed what things she’d like to see and do if zombies did, in fact, take over the world.

While attending the film’s premiere, Stone was asked by E! News which celebrity she’d like to bring back from the dead and she had a certain comedy queen in mind, “Well Gilda Radner’s my favorite. I would like to see Gilda Radner.”

But it was the next question that has blown my mind.

When asked which celebrity she’d like to eat in the case of a zombie apocalypse Stone had one very cute star in mind.

“Babe,” she joked. You know, the pig! “I don’t want to eat Babe,” she clarified. “You know, it’s just, it’s bacon.”

I mean, look, it makes sense. And I’m no vegetarian, but look at his little face!

It’s been ten years since the first Zombieland movie was released in 2009, and the reason for that long delay? Deadpool.

The first Zombieland movie was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and while they’ve been wanted to write a sequel for years, they got a little distracted Deadpool.

Deadpool became such a huge hit for the pair, the sequel for that film was put on the fast track and meant they had to put a Zombieland sequel on the back burner.

Stone’s Zombieland co-star Jesse Eisenberg appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and revealed the stars of the film wanted to do sequel straight after the first one came out.

“We trying to do the movie right after the first one ’cause the first one was so popular and then we just waited for the best script. In the meantime, the two writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, did Deadpool and then we were waiting for them to finish that so they can write this. And we were all waiting, me, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, we’re all waiting for the best script and it finally came in.”

He added that working on the film with Stone, Harrelson and Breslin was the “ideal collaboration”.

The film’s director, Ruben Fleischer, also revealed they could very well come back in another 10 years with a third film if Stone has her way.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Fleischer revealed, “We have to see how this one’s received and if that’s something audiences would want.

“But I think we all had so much fun making this one, we’d be really lucky to get to return to Zombieland. Although, I will say, Emma said, she thought it would be fun if we did one of these every ten years.

“Knowing that Woody’s just the healthiest guy there is, he’s going to outlive all of us, and so we can just keep doing them every ten years, ‘til the end of time.”

I’m totally on board with that idea.
