Emilia Clarke Just Dropped A Big Tease For Ep 5 Of Game Of Thrones So Let The Theories Fly

Sounds like stuff is about to go down. Again.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR SEASON 8 OF GAME OF THRONES!

YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

We’re halfway through the final season of Game of Thrones and so far we’ve gotten two brilliant episodes of nearly every character prepping for the epic Battle of Winterfell by drinking or fornicating their final hours away followed by the actual unfolding of said battle, which was somehow both thrilling in its scale and conclusion while also incredibly frustrating because you couldn’t see s**t.

You’d think that the remaining three episodes can’t possibly top the Battle of Winterfell given the amount of effort that’s gone into staging that sequence, but Emilia Clarke just dropped a big tease hinting that something bigger is about to go down in the upcoming episodes.

During a chat on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Emilia slipped in a bombshell about the final three episodes, saying that they’re going to be “mental” before hyping up episode five as “bigger” than anything we’ve seen before.

When the audience managed to pick up their jaws from the floor and Jimmy was to catch up to what she was saying, Emilia then said that everyone should “find the biggest TV you can.”

Okay, she didn’t say much but it still revealed a decent amount on what to expect from Thrones in the episodes to come so let’s break this down, shall we?

Emilia said to “find the biggest TV you can” before making a big explosion gesture, which suggests that a second big-scale battle is on the horizon. With Cersei being the only one who kinda fits the antagonist role now that the Night King has met his end at the hands of Arya Stark, we can probably expect some epic showdown at King’s Landing between Daenerys and Jon Snow’s remaining forces against Cersei’s hired swords. Toss in an episode runtime of 80 minutes and you have the makings of another battle.

More light and stuff like this, please.

Still, this being Game of Thrones and all, who really knows what will happen. Hell, we all expected “The Long Night” to be THE battle of all TV and film battles yet it kinda underwhelmed at best.

But hey, please let those theories fly because there are some truly creative minds out there and it has been seriously fun seeing all the wild things y’all have come up with.
