Suddenly and rather unexpectedly, Disney’s latest film adaptation of a theme park attraction – Jungle Cruise – is a movie release I’m feeling very excited about.
That is 100% because the just-released teaser trailer for the film shows off the serious chemistry between main characters Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. It’s all flirty banter and bickering and I guarantee it will strengthen your no-doubt already potent love for The Rock.
So basically Jungle Cruise looks adorable. In the film Dwayne Johnson plays a boat captain who guides Emily Blunt’s character and her brother (Jack Whitehall) on a mission through the jungle to find a magical tree.
It’s a mission antagonised by our baddies Edgar Ramirez and Jesse Plemons and I think we can look forward to a romantic subplot between our two stars.
Jungle Cruise is set to come out in October 2019 so if you’re a fan of Dwayne Johnson acting, living, breathing, generally existing and being great, this is the content for you.
