Marvel Might Be Working On A Way To Introduce Deadpool Into The MCU With Spider-Man 3

Yes, please!

We’ve been wondering for a while how Disney would introduce Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe after acquiring the rights to the character after buying 20th Century Fox.

Now, MCU Cosmic, a site that regularly posts MCU rumours, reports that “a most-reliable source who has delivered 100% for [them] in the past” has told them that Marvel is figuring out how to introduce Deadpool into the MCU. Apparently, there are currently three ideas being floated around about how to do it.

MCU Cosmic reveals the three options include a solo movie, such as Deadpool 3, a Disney+ limited series or an appearance in Spider-Man 3 with Tom Holland.

They report that a Disney+ series might not work because everything on the streaming service appears family friendly and Deadpool is most definitely not family friendly. But it is an option!

The series would also give Marvel plenty of time, longer than any one movie, to get Deadpool integrated in the MCU.

The rumour that they may introduce the character in a third Spider-Man movie is confirmation that Tom does have a three-picture contract with Marvel and that the Marvel-Sony deal will continue as normal.

MCU Cosmic reports this wouldn’t actually be that shocking because Marvel Comics actually published a Spider-Man/Deadpool on-going comic and it was very popular. The two characters reportedly have great chemistry, so that could work very well.

This could be the superhero/buddy cop movie we never knew we needed!
