Your Boyfriend Childish Gambino Is Coming To Australia, For A Bunch Of Huge Shows

He's headlining this year's Spilt Milk festival in Canberra, as well as a few huge solo shows.

Rapper, actor, comedian, writer, and man of your dreams Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover) is coming to Australia this November.

The Atlanta star – who plans to retire his Childish Gambino persona at the end of the year – will headline this year’s Spilt Milk festival in Canberra on the  17th of November. They’ll be performing  alongside a bevy of other acts including RL Grime, Peking Duk, and The Wombats, who I assume live as nomads travelling between every Australian music festival in the land.

There are no reports yet of any other shows, but it’d admittedly be pretty weird to come to Australia and just play Canberra. And by that, I mean “Please come to Sydney, Donald, and take me out to a candlelit dinner while dressed in full Lando Calrissian garb”.

Oh yeah, baby.

Tickets to this year’s fest go on sale on Thursday July 5th. Check out the full lineup and all the deets at the Spilt Milk festival website here.

UPDATE 26/6: Childish Gambino has just announced a bunch of headline dates across the country. He’ll be blessing Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney with his presence on the following dates:

8th November – HBF Stadium, Perth

10th November – Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne

14th November – Sydney Opera House Forecourt, Sydney

Tickets for all three dates go on sale this Friday. Check out all the details on the Livenation website.
