Charli XCX Just Casually Airdropped Her Own Netflix Series

Hit pause on whatever you were watching.

Whatever you’ve been binge watching, you might want to hit pause – if you’re a Charli XCX fan, of course.

The singer songwriter quite literally airdropped her fans some exciting news at her show – she’s making and starring in a TV show premiering on Netflix next month!

“Dear angels, it’s Charli baby. Thank you so much for coming to my show tonight and selling the whole damn thing out in seconds. IT WAS FUCKED UP HOW WILD IT WAS! I am in love with every single one of you!!!! Ok – so I wanted to share this secret with you guys, my most hardcore fans, over this lil airdrop situation – coz then you’d hear the news FIRST. So here goes…” she began her lengthy note.

“Over the past year, I’ve been making and starring in a TV show about my favourite band (who I put together) – Nasty Cherry.”

Charli went on to reveal that her new show is called I’m With The Band: Nasty Cherry and drops on Netflix on November 15th. She also invited her fans to tune into her Instagram to watch the trailer premiere.

Charli is, in fact, the brainchild behind Nasty Cherry, an all-girl band that formed this year and is made up of singer Gabbriette Bechtel, guitarist Chloe Chaidez, drummer Deborah Knox-Hewson and bassist Georgia Somary.

It’s a huge moment for Charli, and her loyal fanbase. From her early mixtapes throughout 2011 and 2012, to getting her first number-one single in 2014 with Iggy Azalea’s ‘Fancy,’ and now collaborating with every major artist under the sun, including Lizzo to Troye Sivan – Charli has well and truly established herself as a bona fide superstar.

Literally cannot wait to see Charli XCX and Nasty Cherry do their thing when I’m With The Band: Nasty Cherry hits Netflix next month!
