Seemingly Wholesome Kids Shows That Got It So Wrong, We're Forever Grateful

Sneaking adult content past the censors.

I don’t know how you get your five veggies and two servings of fruit each day, but for me this is certainly not how.

Cartoon Network aired an episode of The Amazing World of Gumball which included some questionable adult content.

What appears to be an attempt to be ‘quirky’ or ‘random’ to be funny – which is pretty in line with the show as a whole – comes some accidentally adult content on what is unquestionable a children’s TV show.

What.

If you don’t get it, don’t worry. It just means you are more innocent than most of us.

The clenching is what makes me so uncomfortable, though.

That’s enough internet for today.

This is of course not the first time a kids show has accidentally presented as something else (although I totally think they knew what they were doing here). There was that time the presenters on Play School made a bong.

They knew. They had to.

Or when Animaniacs casually mentioned ‘fingering’ the singer formerly known as Prince.

Bad Animaniacs! Bad!

Getting everything and anything through the censors seems to be the fun the writers and animators live for.
