It’s no secret that Alyson Hannigan was always the best part of Buffy The Vampire Slayer – whether she was being adorably badass as your favourite lesbian nerd witch, or terrifying as her evil vampire doppelganger.
Now we know how she did it: she’s an actual IRL witch who doesn’t age.
She proved this at Wizard World Portland on Sunday, where she reunited with a huge crew of Buffy alumni.
There you have Amber Benson (Tara), Julie Benz (Darla), Iyari Limon (Kennedy), Amy Acker (Fred from Angel), James Marsters (Spike), Clare Kramer (Glory), and Alexis Denisof (Wesley, and also married to Alyson).
And yep, down the front there is Charisma Carpenter, Hannigan, and Nicholas Brendon – AKA Cordelia, Willow and Xander.

And that guy in the vest? Don’t feel bad you don’t recognise him – he played Clem, the sweet loose-skinned demon who totally stopped eating kittens.
Carpenter shared the snap on Instagram with the caption “Demons and vampires and scoobies oh my!”
Kramer absolutely spammed her feed with snaps from the event – but then Glory was never one for restraint.
It’s nice to see (most of) the old Scooby Gang’s still got it.
Whatever the Denisof-Hannigans (also known as Lily and Sandy Rivers from How I Met Your Mother) are bathing in, I’ll have some.
And no, Giles (Anthony Head) and The Buffster herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, weren’t there – although given that she’s still married to Freddie Prinze Jr, every day in their house is technically a Scooby Gang reunion.
