Everyone’s favourite, Chelsea Peretti, has announced that she won’t be appearing in all of season 6 of Brooklyn Nine Nine, much to the devastation of diehard Gina fans everywhere, which is everyone who’s ever seen the show.
She made the announcement on Twitter, accompanied by a quote from Emmy Rossum when she announced she was leaving Shameless:
B99 fans. Hiiiiiiiiiiii. Chelsea Peretti, here. I won't be doing a full season of Brooklyn Nine Nine in Season 6. But that doesn’t mean I won’t ever be back, winky face emoji, heart emoji. I want to thank you for the hours you spent watching Gina be Gina:

Chelsea’s colleagues are just as devastated as the rest of us. Dan Goor, the show’s co-creator, released this statement via Twitter:
