Andre Braugher is honestly the MVP of the Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast. Braugher’s Captain Holt often has the best lines, delivery, humour and in a show that co-stars Andy Samberg and Terry Crews, that’s saying something.

Which is why it’s been an absolute delight seeing Braugher adapt social media because it finally gives us a much needed, informal insight into the mind of one of the 21st century’s greatest comedic minds.
Social media has always had a big role in in the show. After it was cancelled on FOX in 2018, an upswell of support from fans on Twitter including celebrities like Mark Hamill and Lin-Manuel Miranda called for it to be renewed where eventually it was bought by NBC.
So it’s quite poetic that even Braugher are joining.

And honestly, Braugher’s first tweet was utterly… perfect. In less than 24 hours, Braugher’s account has garnered more than 63K followers and frankly, they’re well deserved.
