We Have A Theory On Who David Harbour Will Play In 'Black Widow' And It's Big News For Fantastic Four Fans

It's a pretty big deal.

Since Disney closed its merger deal with 20th Century Fox, Marvel fans have been wondering how they might incorporate some of the previously Fox-owned characters such as the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

There are rumours Deadpool might appear in Spider-Man 3, but aside from that we don’t have much of an idea how those properties will fit into the MCU just yet. We do have one theory though.

David Harbour has been cast in the upcoming Black Widow standalone film, but we don’t know what his role is just yet. However, Harbour did make a very suspicious comment during a panel at London MCM Comic Con that has fans wondering if he might be portraying the Thing in the film.

During the panel, Harbour referred to his role as a “thing”, saying, “I’m glad this thing is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

This is, of course, nowhere near an actual confirmation, and considering Marvel only just got access to these characters it might be too soon for them to have written them into any films just yet.

The film begins shooting in June and will likely be one of Marvel’s next releases as it’s set to hit cinemas in 2020.

While it was originally believed to be an origin film, there are rumours Black Widow will actually take place after Captain America: Civil War.

If the Thing does appear in Black Widow what does that mean for Mr Fantastic, Human Torch and the Invisible Woman?

All we know is that if it did happen, Harbour would probably do a great job as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
