Margot Robbie is back as Harley Quinn for the Birds of Prey movie and she looks like she’s ready to hit Coachella.
Robbie debuted Harley Quinn’s new look in an Instagram post, and there’s no denying it, she looks very good. But as far as superhero/villain aesthetics go, this one could fit pretty seamlessly into the modern basic bitch festival aesthetic.
Maybe the film’s absurdly long full title Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) takes place briefly at a secret location warehouse party because Harley looks a bit like a tech-head chick.
But hey, it’s working for her.
The first teaser for the film also dropped, showing Robbie and her cast mates ready for action. We’ve catch a glimpse of Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, Ella Jay Basco, and Ewan McGregor in full costume in the teaser video titled See You Soon.
So that’s reassuring.

Hopefully this film will show us Harley Quinn liberated from her toxic relationship with the Joker, but we will have to wait for the film’s 2020 release to see.
