Homecoming Was Just The Start, Beyoncé Has Two More Projects In The Pipeline With Netflix

Great news for those of us with Homecoming on repeat...

If there’s one thing that Beyoncé loves, it’s to surprise her fans. With the release of Homecoming on Netflix last week as well as her 40-track album of the same name, things have never been so good for Beyoncé stans.

Until now.

According to Variety, Homecoming was the first of three projects that Beyoncé has coming out with Netflix worth a huge $60 million. There’s no word yet on what they’ll be about exactly, but we can probably expect them to drop with no warning in the middle of the work week…

While there’s no confirmation, it wouldn’t be super surprising if one was an On The Run II Tour concert special.

Homecoming, the behind-the-scenes documentary of Queen Bey’s long road to her 2018 Coachella performance, shows the singer’s dedication to reaching her goals and is reminding everyone how bloody amazing she is and how far she’s willing to push herself.

Vulture reports HBO was also interested in the deal after having aired her 2016 Lemonade film, as well as her 2014 On The Run Tour concert special and the 2013 documentary Life Is But A Dream. However, it’s believed they backed down when Netflix offered the rumoured $60m.

Variety also reports the audio from the Lemonade film, which was previously only available on Tidal, will be on all streaming services from April 23 (US time). Homecoming is already available to listen to on other streaming services such as Spotify.

The publication also believes it’s highly likely we’ll get two new albums along with the two new films.

Beyoncé tells the cameras in Homecoming, “What people don’t see is the sacrifice,” and after seeing everything she did in the lead up to that Coachella performance, we really hope she’s enjoying some time to relax right now.

All we know is, as soon as those two new films drop, we’ll be ready. Until then, we’ll keep playing Homecoming on repeat…
