The Creators Of Black Mirror Finally Reveal The Correct Choices In Bandersnatch

Oh, so NOW they tell us.

This post includes mostly context-free details about Bandersnatch.

Ever since the interactive Black Mirror movie Bandersnatch dropped on Netflix at the beginning of January, viewers have been having near-total nervous breakdowns over their choices – starting from overthinking which sugary cereal they’ll have protagonist Stefan eat for breakfast, and building to, well, whether you literally make him jump off a building.

Creator-writers and evil masterminds Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones have rudely refused to confirm whether there is a single “correct” path through the entire film.

However, in a promo video for Netflix, they’ve now weighed in on some of the most instantly iconic individual forks in the extremely forked-up road they built us.

So: you jump or he jumps?

“Well, of course HE jumps. Otherwise you’re a fool,” says Brooker, chillingly pragmatic.

Yeah or Fuck Yeah? Again, there’s only one right answer here.

“Who’s gonna choose Yeah?” (“They do the same thing, it’s a false choice,” Brooker stage whispers.)

Soon after you choose your Yeah variant, you’re presented with another seemingly obvious choice: karate chop dad or kick Dad in the nuts?

Surely Kick In The Nuts is the Fuck Yeah of this choice – but the creators are split on this one.

“We disagree on this,” says Jones. “You’re in the nuts, I’m karate chop.”

“Why wouldn’t you kick him in the nuts?”

“Because it’s irresponsible to do that!”

Oh sure, so that’s where you draw a line, Annabel?

And on the most crucial decision in the whole thing, they’re also split: Brooker goes for Frosties, while Jones plumps for Sugar Puffs.

“Whichever one, all it says about you is that you’re doomed.”

Wow, guys. Thanks again for making an existential crisis out of cereal.
