Marvel's Don Cheadle Isn’t Over Mark Ruffalo Infamously Letting The Huge Avengers Spoiler Slip Either

Mark Ruffalo can not be trusted with the Avengers: Endgame plot spoilers.

Who could forget the iconic moment back in 2017, when Mark Ruffalo let a little too much slip about Avengers: Infinity War in an interview with Good Morning America?

In the interview, Ruffalo came off like an over-excited kid who inevitably needed to be chastised by his Marvel costar Don Cheadle (AKA War Machine) for his major faux pas.

In short, after the interviewer asked the stars if they succeeded in saving Asgard in the latest instalment of the franchise, Mark Ruffalo (adorably) turns to Cheadle and asks if he could reveal “a little”.

Don Cheadle advised him, “I wouldn’t say too much, but you can say as much, I mean, hey, it’s your career,” but one thing led to another and then Mark Ruffalo blurts out, to the devastation of his Marvel co-star and probably a lot of the Avengers bosses,

“Wait until you see this next one! Everybody dies!”

The aftermath of that spoiler will never get old.

Well it turns out that Don Cheadle has definitely not forgotten, and joked in an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he’s steering clear of doing any press events with his loose-lipped Avengers: Endgame costar.

“He runs his mouth a lot,” He teased. “Why do I need that hassle, right?”

“I don’t need to be sitting next to him when he blows the whole reveal of the movie,” Cheadle joked. “Him, Tom Holland, they both … little chatty.”

Tom Holland, our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, is infamously bad at keeping the Marvel secrets too, so he’s been blacklisted along with The Hulk.

Whether on not Don Cheadle was kidding or not, he honestly might be assigned to one of these guys to keep them in line – a bit like Benedict Cumberpatch has done in interviews with Tom Holland.

That said, Tom Holland even existing in the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer (and Tony Stark seeming to not exist) might be a spoiler in itself. Although if someone wants to let slip that all our favourites are coming back to life in Avengers: Endgame, that would be great.
