Marvel has dropped yet another trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, and this one features Thanos seriously being a dick.
The special look trailer was released to celebrate tickets being available to purchase today, and it’s essentially more emotional turmoil peppered with a few new revelations if you’re up for it.
At least they leftover Avengers are trying to stay optimistic with the sentiment,
“It’s not about how much we lost, it’s about how much we have left.”
First off let’s talk about the fact that Tony and Steve are reuniting after zero interaction in Infinity War, so they’re clearly putting the past events of Captain America: Civil War behind them. It warms the heart.
But then the heart really shrivels up into a cold emotional mess when Tony looks sadly at this adorable photo of him and Peter. These two better reunite in this movie or there will be tears. (There will likely be tears regardless.)
At least in the true style of an emotional rollercoaster, we have a moment of respite in seeing Tony and Pepper officially reuniting.
There’s also the epic moment where we catch a glimpse of Carol Danvers captaining the Guardians of the Galaxy’s ship. Oh Captain my Captain indeed.
But the most memorable part of this trailer is finally seeing Thanos again for the first time since the Snap, and spoiler alert! He’s still an asshole.
“You could not live with your own failure and where did that bring you? Back to me.” He says to the Avengers.
I don’t care how they have to do it, but Thanos better be going down in Endgame. And Tony and Peter better reunite. That’s my wish list.
