Warning: This post contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.
Avengers: Endgame was a seriously emotional rollercoaster and the final fight where everyone who was dusted at the end of Infinity War came back for their showdown with Thanos was one of the best moments.
Especially because there were so many happy reunions, none more beautiful than Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland).
We all know what happens at the end of the fight, but seeing Tony and Peter reunited was incredibly emotional – after all, Tony did everything that he could during Endgame in the hopes he’d see Peter again.
Tony was a father figure to Peter and while losing Tony at the end of the film was horrible, losing the relationship between these two characters (a second time) was seriously heartbreaking.
Now, RDJ has shared a behind-the-scenes video of their reunion scene and we’re crying all over again. He captioned the video, “Stark and Parker reunited… #Spidey senses tell me a few of you were hoping for this moment…”
Fans quickly began commenting about how upset they were with many also asking why the kiss Tony gave Peter didn’t make the final cut. One fan wrote, “THE LITTLE KISS, IM BALLING,” and honestly? Same.
Another added, “The fact that this was cut makes me so incredibly sad.”

The video continued after the directors cut the scene and Robert is heard telling Tom, “Love you.” And oh my God, my heart cannot deal with all of this.
If anyone needs me I’ll just be in the corner crying…
