Egg Boi's 15 Minutes Of Fame Has Landed Him An Action Figure

Peak status achieved.

Every once in a while something magical happens on this bleak planet of ours which we call home. A legend rears their head and changes our lives for the better – they give us hope we never realised we needed.

This year is almost over and no one has surpassed the legendary status of Egg Boi: the kid that egged senator Fraser Anning after Anning blamed the Christchurch shooting on Muslim immigration.

Here’s the clip in all its glory:

Egg Boi, real name Will Connolly, became an overnight superstar. But for all the articles, graphic t-shirts, murals, and interviews conducted in his name, none match the awesomeness that is an action figure.

Yep, move over Iron Man because Egg Boi just got his own action figure and it is a piece of ~art~.

Even the copy on the back of the box is a piece of art – it’s the kind of writing that Shakespeare would envy. It tells the story of Egg Boi in words so beautiful and empowering they might just make you well up:

“From the unrelenting turmoil of a corrupt theocratic police state emerges a dead set legend, a hero for our times,” it reads.

“Bearing the wright of the world on their shoulder and fearing not death or persecution, the Champion we now know as Egg Boi rose to embody the hearts and minds of a generation disenfranchised by politicians divorced so far from the Australian population that one might think them Eggs in their own right.”

The box also warns that ‘THIS IS NOT A TOY! THIS IS A LIMITED EDITION ART OBJECT FOR AGES 6 AND UP.’

I’m not sure what a 6-year-old would do with a miniature figure of Egg Boi but I’m glad that the young generation of Aussies is able to find inspiration in the heroes of our time.

It looks like only 100 of the action figures were made. If Will has one then where are the other 99 and how do I get my hands on one? Asking for a mate.
