Ariana Grande released the highly-anticipated video for her latest song, ‘7 rings’ this afternoon, and naturally, the internet is already hyping it up.

The song is a lot slower than ‘thank u, next’, borrows the tune of ‘My Favourite Things’ from The Sound Of Music, and features Ariana rapping. The video is entirely neon and incredibly pink, and includes what might be the world’s longest ponytail.
Rapunzel or Snow White?
The song is basically about how good it is being rich, and also how useful retail therapy is when you’re sad. Ariana sings: “Been through some bad shit, I should be a sad bitch / Who woulda thought it’d turn me to a savage?” and follows it with “Rather be tied up with cuffs and not strings / Write my own checks like I write what I sing, yeah (Yeah)”.
We already know the story behind the song, which is that Ariana and her friends went to Tiffany’s in New York, where she bought them all rings, and the rest is history.

The song’s theme of being rich and able to buy whatever you want isn’t exactly relatable the way ‘thank u, next’ was, but fans are keen to embrace Ariana’s latest release nonetheless.

The video features Ariana and her friends partying, living it up, and showing off their wealth with towers of champagne glasses and just so, so many diamonds.
She spends a lot of the video on the kitchen counter, for some reason. Is this some rich person quirk I’m too broke to understand?
She also spends parts of the video inside a…dollhouse? A tiny room? A crawl-in closet? I have no idea what this is. Another rich person thing I don’t understand, probably.
What is this, a room for ants?
Also, keep an eye out for one of Ariana’s dogs, who makes a cameo. I’ve just realised that this dog is richer than me, and now I’m sad all over again.
