TMZ have brought out a doozy this morning folks.
The celebrity and entertainment website report that Ariana Grande and BDE bro Pete Davidson have called it quits.
We. Are. Not. Ok.
Sources close to the couple have reportedly told the publication that both parties have acknowledged that it was “not the right time for their relationship to take off”.
TMZ added that the pair still have love for each other but that things are “over romantically”.
TMZ also report that their source says while things may be done for the couple for now, the two aren’t ruling out the possibility of anything in the future.
Ariana seems to have been going through a rough patch lately, posting a number of tweets including, “ty for loving me sm i do not deserve it” and “i’m so tired pls” with thousands of followers jumping to support her.
Ariana and Pete announced their engagement in May this year, mere weeks after dating.
Representatives have yet to comment on the claims, but the news emerges hours after Ariana pulled out of a scheduled performance at a benefit concert in Los Angeles.
E! News report that her manager Scooter Braun had to apologise to the crowd.
“And you saw your invite, someone I’m very close to was supposed to come sing for you today, and because of things that she’s going through, she couldn’t be here today,” he explained.
“And while I was frustrated, being the manager, my wife, being who she always is, just looked at me and she goes, ‘She needs this time.’”
