Ariana Grande is one of the most beloved and successful musicians in the world right now because everything she produces is finessed to perfection. Which is why the underwhelming graphic design on her new merch is very confusing.
Ariana has officially kicked off her Sweetener world tour and fans have shared some pictures of the merchandise that’s so far only been seen exclusively available at the concert.
One design really stands out, because it is weird and bad, to be quite honest.

Yes, that’s an official Sweetener top with what looks like a blue ink stain stamped onto the fabric using a flaccid penis. It’s definitely unique, but not a fan favourite.

Putting aside the fact that the blue detailing looks like two penis’s conjoined at the balls – perhaps some kind of malleable double-sided dildo – the ink spill MS Paint design in any shape would be underwhelming.
As far as graphic design goes, there was definitely room for improvement at the conceptualisation phase.

The good news is that if the flaccid dick ink art merch isn’t for you, the other shirts, jumpers and accessories on Ariana’s merchandise site are actually really fly.
Also, the sexualised stain design will probably become a collectors item for being niche Ariana Grande merch, so everybody wins either way. But mostly Ariana wins, because people will buy whatever weird stuff she puts on sale and love it.
