Ariana Grande Officially Cements Her Status As Our New Single Girl Icon With One Savage Tweet

Single Ari is the best Ari of all.

Ariana Grande has quickly gone from the embodiment of loved-up infatuation to our official single-girl icon. She’s independent, she’s not bitter, and she’s speaking the damn truth.

Since her break-up with Pete Davidson there was a few unmistakably shady tweets dragging her ex-fiancé for milking their relationship for jokes, but then all was peaceful since she released her wholesome break-up track ‘thank u, next’ and Davidson finally responded with a mature public statement on the break-up.

So after everything, Ariana has come out of this mess as a beacon of strength, who is putting herself first and being unapologetic about knowing what kind of partnership she deserves. Her message about loving herself first and most in ‘thank u, next’ is the kind of thing we need to hear more of, and that’s why she’s currently our single girl icon.

Also because she’s not afraid to tell the cold hard truth in the form of shady-ass tweets. Inspirational stuff.

Like in response to this wannabe-insightful comment from Mr. Brent Buller, who believes Ariana is kicking off a revolution of women shunning men forever.

Ariana tweeted in response, “thank god”, and I have never felt something resonate so deeply in my bones ever before.

That is the kind of tongue-in-cheek attitude that reminds us all that we don’t have to put up with sh*tty behaviour from anyone. If they’re going to behave badly, we can and should stay away. Preach Ari.

Also if she’s inspiring this kind of discourse, you know she’s doing something right:

“No, ariana grande is like one song away from teaching girls how to look at terrible situations in the best way possible. to free ourselves from pain, and live our best lives. thank you, next”

Ariana Grande’s message and attitude is everything we need right now, and her Twitter presence is truly a blessing.
