It’s been over two weeks since Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson called off their whirlwind engagement, and all we have heard are bleak jokes about the break up from Pete, while Ariana has remained silent.
But saddle up folks because it looks like Ari has arrived to shut this sh*t down.
In case you missed it, Davidson is making headlines for a casual joke about the break up he makes in a just-released promo video for an episode of SNL. In it he half-heartedly proposes to the musical guest, Maggie Rogers, and responds to her rejection with a casual “0 for 3.”

Soon after – as in, soon enough to make an educated guess at causality – Ariana tweeted “for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh.”
After Pete broke the ice with his initial break up jokes, he could honestly just leave the topic and continue on with other material. To keep the gag going is verging on milking it territory sorry mate.
Ariana followed up her tweet with another that says. “thank u, next.”
