Pornhub Has Made The Official Call On Who’s Hotter In The Apex Legends Vs Fortnite Rivalry

This means war.

Apex Legends snuck onto the Battle Royale scene in early February and gained popularity at a rate that surely made Fortnite at least a little nervous. With 10 million players registered within three days, and 25 million within a week, AL has proven itself to be quite a contender.

There are a lot of ways to measure game popularity. How many registered players? How many concurrent players? How many Twitch streamers? Twitch viewers?

And then there’s the most important question of all – which is more popular on Pornhub?

Fortnite‘s global popularity has been mirrored by its respective popularity as a Pornhub search term. The game skyrocketed from porn obscurity to become one of the top 20 Pornhub searches that defined 2018.

But now there’s a new competitor on the block, and apparently, it’s turning us on. Yes, Apex Legends-related searches are booming. It is not enough for a game to be played. The measure of true success is how many people want to get off to it. Sort of.

While Fortnite continues to be 2019’s top game-related Pornhub search, with a daily average of 151,000, it’s at a plateau.

Apex Legends searches went from 800 on February 6 to over 10,000 per day a week later. Searches peaked on February 18 with 357,701 searches on a single day, which was more than double that of Fortnite.

Since then, Apex Legends searches have settled down to about 100k a day, which isn’t so far behind Fortnite. Considering this is the very early days of AL, we can either expect to see that continue to gain ground or plummet out of relevancy forever.

It’s battle royale vs. battle royale in the war to end them all, the war of the wank.
