Evangeline Lilly Is Very Much Not Here For Her Male Co-Stars Complaining About Uncomfortable Superhero Costumes While She’s Probably Sitting There In Spanx

Guys, do you wrangle yourself into a bra every day? Are you wiggling into shape wear and squeezing into platform stilettos? No, we do.

Listen up dudes of the Marvel universe – don’t even bother talking to Evangeline Lilly about how uncomfortable your superhero costume was because she’ll rightfully tell you to suck it up and move on.

While chatting to BackstageOL during a press junket for her new flick, Ant-man and The Wasp, Lilly admitted she loved her own costume for The Wasp and was surprised, if not annoyed, by the constant moaning and groaning from guys about their skin-tight superhero outfits.

“I have been hearing Marvel male superheroes complain about their suits for years, and I got into my suit and I was wearing it, working in it, doing my thing… and I was like ‘it’s just not that bad, do I have the most comfortable suit in the MCU? Or have men not had the life experience of being uncomfortable for the sake of looking good’? And they’re just like, ‘what is this, this sucks, why do I have to go through this’? Whereas a woman is like, ‘I don’t know, this is normal, I wear heels to work I’m uncomfortable all day, you get used to it, you tune it out.’”

Preach Lilly!

Can I get a hallelujah, ladies?

Some guys have no idea how uncomfortable we are every single day of our lives because we’re forced to dress a certain way in order to be taken seriously.

It sucks, and it’s why there’s no better feeling than getting home and freeing yourself from boob jail by taking off your bra #justsayin.

Besides speaking the truth and being an absolute gem of a person, Lilly also has an awesome habit of posting some pretty relevant shoe content that speaks to our mutually relatable uncomfortableness.

Keen to see less of her shoes but more of Lilly kicking butt?

Ant-Man and The Wasp is coming to big screens across Australia next month.
