This Aussie Mansion Gives The AHS Murder House A Run For Its Money

This is the stuff of nightmares.

Anyone who has been house hunting knows that the photos can often be misleading, but the  listing for this Aussie mansion is leaving nothing to the imagination – in fact, the photos are so terrifying they’ll haunt your dreams.

From the outset, 10 Melory Crescent looks like a charming mansion built in the 1800s. The first ten property photos give off the same kitschy yet full-of-potential feel, but when you hit number 11, everything starts to take a scary turn.

The house appears to have a strange, derelict basement featuring someone’s collection of haunted dolls and Halloween memorabilia. It’s so unexpected and frightening, it’s giving the AHS murder house a run for it’s money.

Let’s be honest – It: Chapter 2 could’ve been shot here!

The mansion’s murderous basement isn’t only bizarre feature you’ll find in the property photos. Amongst the lacy curtains and tacky wallpaper you’ll find a Crusty Demons cushion, an Alice Cooper poster, a framed Manchester United jersey and a gold vintage Chevy parked out back.

WHO ARE THE PEOPLE WHO OWN THIS PLACE!?

Serious question. Credit: Giphy

The property description includes a brief history of the mansion, emphasises that “everything needs work” then right at the end, an agent’s note reads: “Brave people only, leave the kids at home or keep them supervised. Watch the steps.”

If that’s not a selling point, I don’t know what is.

There’s no doubt that 10 Melory Crescent is what they call a ‘fixer-upper’, but if that means crossing paths with a possessed doll or an angry ghost from the 1800s, I’d rather stay renting for the rest of my days.
