Entertainment Weekly released a series of pictures and some behind the scenes footage from the Aladdin set so we can see if they’re doing our childhood classic justice. The magazine cover shot alone is enough to get you pumped for the whole new world of this remake.

We’ve got Mena Massoud playing the hot young “street rat” turned prince, Aladdin, Naomi Scott playing our stubborn princess, Jasmine, and of course, Will Smith filling the big shoes left behind by Robin Williams in the role of Genie.
Besides Will Smith’s questionable beard, everything looks quite astoundingly beautiful. The colours of the fictional Agrabah and the recreation of all the action is on point by the looks of the behind the scenes footage and pictures Entertainment Weekly shared.
