Rest Assured Adele Of All People Knows How To Not Only Survive A Break-Up But Bloody Thrive From It

It's made her one of the most successful and highest-paid female musicians of our time.

In what is probably very sad news for Adele (but also very exciting news for many of her fans), it was confirmed this weekend that she and her husband Simon Konecki have split up after three years of marriage.

The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer’s representatives Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh confirmed the news in an email statement to news agencies on Friday night.

“Adele and her partner have separated,” the statement said. “They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

The British singer, who has always been private about her relationship with Simon, gave birth to their first and only child, a son named Angelo, in 2012.

They tied the knot in secret in 2016 after five years of dating, with Adele appearing to confirm they were married when she gave a shout out to the charity entrepreneur as she won Album of the Year for 25 at the 2017 Grammys.

“Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband and my son you’re the only reason I do it,” she said.

She later explicitly told fans “I’m married now” during a concert in Australia in March 2017, during her world tour.

The pair was last seen together at an Elton John concert in January, with Adele more recently being spotted at a gay bar with Jennifer Lawrence in NYC in March. She was also spotted entering a recording studio in the same month sparking rumours she’s working on new music.

While this is no doubt a horrible time for Adele, the singer has experienced heartbreak before and has thrived off of it.

The Grammy winner’s most famous songs including ‘Someone Like You’, ‘Hello’, and ‘Set Fire To The Rain’, are all about heartbreak and you know what? It’s made her seriously successful.

Adele is one of the most successful and highest-paid female musicians of our time.

Her songs have billions of views on YouTube and her albums are diamond certified which the Recording Industry Association of America awards when 10 million copies have been sold.

Not only that, but those songs have gotten many of us through our own heartbreak and a lot of tears.

In 2017, Forbes reported Adele was the highest-paid Grammy nominee after earning $80.5 million from her album 25 as well as her touring.

They also reported that Adele’s influence reaches people who don’t traditionally buy music and the fact that she spaces out her albums makes fans want to buy her new music “even more”.

With her last album released in 2015, no doubt fans will go nuts when she chooses to release the next one.

We have no doubts that Adele’s breakup will only see her success and influence grow, especially when she’s surrounded by such badass women.
