It’s been a big day for… Listening to...

Aaron Paul Will Be Joining Season Three Of HBO's Westworld And I Hope All He Does Is Make Jokes About Robots As Jesse Pinkman

If this is a dream, Delores, I don't want to wake up.

TV content has seen a dramatic rise in quality over the last couple of years and leading that wave is HBO’s Westworld, arguably one of the most ambitious shows in recent memory.

Yet despite looking stunning at all angles, its all-star cast, and it’s crazy head-spinning narrative, I embarrassingly haven’t kept up with the show because I’ve been on a re-watch binge of Breaking Bad. I know, I’m a terrible person.

But now I literally have no excuse to not watch Westworld because Aaron Paul will be a major part of season three of HBO’s big sci-fi drama.

Deadline reports that Paul will be joining the next season of HBO’s popular show as a series regular, though his character is being kept under wraps at the moment.

Having had his big, ahem, break as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, Paul has done a bunch of other great TV shows prior to joining Westworld, such as voicing the goofy yet pure-hearted Todd in BoJack Horseman and playing the religiously-challenged lead in The Path.

It will certainly be interesting to see what kind of character Paul will be playing in Westworld given how that show is fustercluck of humans and androids in the best of ways. But whatever or whoever he plays, I certainly will be tuning in because, well, he’s goddamn Aaron Paul and he is just endlessly watchable in anything.

Honestly, I’m kinda wishing that Paul will just rock up in Westworld as Jesse Pinkman and spend the entire time making jokes about robots and science, all of which is punctuated by an endless stream of “yeah bitch!”
