In case you missed it, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga recently put on a hell of a show at the 2019 Oscars when they gave a performance of “Shallow” that was so intense that the internet’s reaction could only be described as sploosh.
Everything about their duet was so charged that everyone was convinced that Cooper and Gaga must be an item, even though it’s well known that ol’ Bradley is happily spoken for. Watch it again and try not to squeal:
Hot off A Star Is Born‘s Oscar success, and clearly sensing that everyone is still onboard the Cooper/Gaga “are they or aren’t they” train, the movie’s producers have decided to re-release an extended cut of the film with 12 minutes of additional footage for a limited one-week run.
While you’re going to have to find a cinema in America to find out exactly what these new scenes are, we have a hunch that every second of those 12 minutes serve to do nothing but reinforce Cooper and Gaga’s unparalleled chemistry based on a newly-released teaser clip.
The 42-second clip features Ally and Jackson sharing yet another intimate moment on a massive empty stage while working on a previously unreleased song “Clover”.
Hearing the pair sing together on a new song is great and all but let’s be honest, we’re here for more Cooper and Gaga moments. And boy did this clip do the job as it served to only amp up the pair’s undeniable chemistry.

Ugh, the way Ally tucks Jackson’s hair behind his ear is just too much.
If this scene looks familiar, that’s because it was briefly in one of the film’s early trailers but they obviously cut it before release, presumably because it would’ve been a touch too much Cooper/Gaga for fans to handle.
I know Bradley is happily together with Irina Shayk and there really isn’t anything going on between himself and Gaga other than friendship and respect of the highest order, but that new clip just further reinforces the thought that there must be an alternative universe out there where the pair fell in love on the set of A Star Is Born and lived happily ever after.
